Job Summary: Consultant Paediatric ER Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Paediatric ER Specialist to join our exceptional team in Jeddah. You will manage acute pediatric emergencies, lead patient care, mentor staff, and drive clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of paediatric emergencies, including trauma and critical medical conditions.
- Perform life-saving interventions and procedures for paediatric patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and healthcare professionals, ensuring high standards of paediatric emergency care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Participate in medical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training programs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-CCT or board certification experience in paediatric emergency care.
- Expertise in managing critical paediatric conditions and emergencies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
- Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Fellowship or additional specialization in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Experience in a high-volume paediatric emergency department.
