Exciting FHO Family Physician Opportunity with a Collaborative and Supportive Medical Team in North York, Toronto
Our client is offering an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Family Physician to join a collegial and well-established group practice, providing comprehensive medical care to a diverse and high-needs patient population. The practice consists of eight Family Physicians operating within a Family Health Organization (FHO) and Family Health Team (FHT). The team is supported by a multidisciplinary group of allied health professionals, including:
- Three nurses for triage and patient preparation
- Two Nurse Practitioners
- A Physiatrist
- A dedicated Diabetes Nurse Educator and Dietitian
- A Dietitian for non-diabetic needs
- Two Social Workers
- A Pharmacist
- A Podiatrist
- A full-service administrative and reception team
The Family Health Team provides a full spectrum of care, including antenatal and obstetrical care, well-woman care, pediatrics, and palliative care, for those interested. Additional clinical programs include hypertension management, mental health services, nutritional counseling, and smoking cessation support through a CAMH-sponsored program. The practice also features a Diabetes Education Program with additional specialized staff to assist in the management of diabetic patients.
New physicians can either bring an existing patient roster or opt for the Income Stabilization Program to ensure a smooth transition. There are also opportunities to teach medical students and residents. Hospital privileges are available at Humber River Regional Hospital, with the potential to engage in surgical assisting and emergency room work if desired.
The clinic is housed in a fully renovated facility with 13 modern exam rooms, utilizing OSCAR EMR and Ocean for patient messaging and online appointment booking. Ample free onsite parking is available. The financial structure is highly competitive, allowing associate physicians to retain 100% of all filled forms and FHO-related bonuses.

Candidate requirements
- Relevant qualifications (MRCGP, MICGP, RACGP, ACRRM, DABFM).
- Medical degree and a valid license to practice in Ontario.
- Certification in Family Medicine.
