Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon -------Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ------- TAX-FREE SALARY UP TO £275,000 PA and COMPREHENSIVE BENEFIT PACKAGE
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a renowned healthcare team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients requiring orthopaedic care, from surgical interventions to rehabilitation. You will contribute to clinical excellence and mentor junior staff, promoting high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with orthopaedic conditions, performing a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
- Specialize in the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions, including trauma, sports injuries, and joint replacement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and individualized patient care.
- Lead and supervise junior doctors, maintaining a high standard of medical practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and best practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and staff education initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- UK CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-CCT or board certification experience in orthopaedic surgery.
- Expertise in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
Preferred:
- Leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Fellowship or additional specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Experience working in a large hospital or private practice.
